North Andover Woman Killed In Crash Sunday Night

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover resident Yahaira Colon, 30, was killed Sunday night in a two-car crash on Waverley Road. Two other people were hospitalized following the accident, which resulted in one vehicle rolling over and resting on its side. As of the latest police update, one is in critical condition, while the other is in stable condition.

North Andover police received calls about an accident at 420 Waverley Road around 10 p.m. Sunday night, they said in a release. North Andover police and fire and Andover fire EMTs treated the three occupants of the cars and took them to Lawrence General Hospital. Colon, one of the two drivers, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Colon's passenger was flown to Boston Medical Center, and is in critical condition. The other driver was treated at Lawrence General.
