Claire M. (Creeley) Guarini, 97, a resident of North Andover, MA, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover.
Born in Lawrence, Claire was a graduate of both St. Lawrence Grammar School and St. Mary’s High Schhol. She then went on to receive her R.N. from Tewksbury State Hospital. Claire had owned and operated the Mary Claire Nursing Home in Lawrence and then the Shady Knoll Nursing Home in North Andover until her retirement. She was an avid Red Sox fan who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The daughter of the late John P. and Annie F. (Murphy) Creeley, Claire was the widow of Phillip C. Guarini as well as the mother of the late John P. Guarini. She is survived by a son Charles A. Guarini and his wife Ann of Methuen, granddaughters: Kathryn Guarini of Miami Beach, FL, Alexis Guarini of Methuen, Laurie Guarini and her fiance Michael also of Methuen, a grandson Benjamin Guarini of Manchester, NH, a daughter-in-law Kathleen Guarini of Methuen, great grandchildren: Alana, Charlee Rose, Owen and Jacob as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. in St. Michael’s Church, 196 Main St., North Andover, MA. Burial will take place at a later date. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made in Claire’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
