A Survival Guide for Helping Your Teen Stay Safe with Drinking and Drugs will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28 at the North Andover High School auditorium.

Joani Geltman, an author and parenting expert, will provide practical advice on helping your teen stay safe with drugs and alcohol. Her presentation will give parents a better understanding of teen behavior and arm parents with concrete
strategies to deal with it. Geltman’s unique blend of humor, honesty and practical solutions will
give parents the confidence needed to talk to their teen about the scary issue of drinking
and drugs.

The North Andover Parent Resource Network will present the event, and the North Andover High School Class of 1964 is sponsoring the event. The snow date is Feb. 25.
