This special program is designed for young farm friends. Calf close encounters, a cow story and costume, a tour of the milking barn and more. For ages 2-7 with an accompanying adult.
This program meets at our Dairy Store.
You are welcome to bring a snack or lunch to enjoy at one of our picnic tables after the program. Make a day of it and plan a family hike after the tour.

Rise and Shine: Little Farmers Lend a Hand, Appleton Farms, 219 County Road, Ipswich
From 10 to 11:30 a.m. July 25
Have you ever collected warm eggs from the chicken coop? Or seen how fast pigs will run for their morning helping of veggie scraps? This Saturday morning program introduces families to our working farm.
Weather: This program runs in rain or shine. If it rains, we will swap out our games with a farm craft in the barn but please dress appropriately as there is always an outdoor component. In the event of lighting, we cancel.
Bring a picnic lunch or stop by our Dairy Store to grab some goodies and spend your day on the farm. We have picnic tables, bathrooms, water, and plenty of stroller friendly walking paths for you to enjoy.

This in-depth look at the dairy operation from the pastures to the cheese kitchen viewing area and everywhere in between to learn about how we make our delicious farm fresh cheese. Finish up with a sampling of some of our products!
This program meets at our Dairy Store located at the main entrance off Rt. 1A.

This program meets at our Dairy Store. The program lasts approximately 1 hour.
You are welcome to bring a snack or lunch to enjoy at one of our picnic tables after the program. Make a day of it and plan a family hike after the tour. Then make sure to visit the dairy store and bring some tasty, farm-fresh milk home with you.
