Photo of the Day: Smolak on Whim

On July 27, "Whim," the new pop-up concept restaurant in which chefs cook in the rough and only unveil their menu to diners the evening of the event, at hosted Chef Andy Husbands of Tremont 647 in Boston's South End to an overflowing, sold-out crowd of 122 people to benefit Share our Strength, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger.

"Whim" is a permanent dining experience held at Smolak Farms every Wednesday evening until Aug. 24. Well known New England chefs are featured as they cook a 3-course dinner for the charity of their choice. The price is $60 per person and includes an evening hayride and post-dinner bonfire.
