Salem Police Arrest North Andover Man For Choking Wedding Guest

The fight broke out during a wedding reception at a bar in Salem, NH.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- A 24-year-old North Andover man was arrested by Salem, NH police after he allegedly choked another guest at a wedding reception he was attending. Police were called to Sayde's Bar and Grill at 8:30 pm Saturday where guests said Colby Dion, 24, of North Andover, had choked another guest before fleeing into some nearby woods.

Police used a K9 unit to search the area and arrested Dion a few minutes after arriving, He was charged him with domestic violence and resisting arrest. Police said the victim had injuries consistent with being choked according to the Eagle-Tribune, which first reported this story. Dion was released on $1,000 bail and scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
