Police Rule Out Foul Play In Haverhill Construction Death
WCVB-TV reported that the late worker was Dennis Robertson, 44, of Manchester, New Hampshire.
HAVERHILL, MA — Police ruled out foul play in the death of a construction worker Wednesday. Two workers fell from bucket truck while working on a bridge on I-495 over the Merrimack River. One was declared dead on the scene while the other was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
State and Haverhill police investigating the incident ruled out foul play as a cause later Wednesday. They had not yet determined whether the accident was caused by mechanical or operator error. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is on the scene.
WCVB-TV reported that the dead worker was Dennis Robertson, 44, of Manchester, N.H. The injured worker, a 46-year-old man, has not been identified.

The two workers fell from the boom and landed on a barge 40 to 50 feet below, the Essex District Attorney's Office said.
