Popular International Festival Returns to Peabody

Final preparations are underway for the 30th annual International Festival to be held from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14 in Peabody Square.The festival has become a favorite event in the region.

The festival celebrates Peabody’s rich ethnic heritage at this artistic and cultural celebration of diversity. The rain date is Sept. 21.

• Artists from around the North Shore will display their works in the International Festival Galleria.
• The Annual Kids Day Celebration will take place on the East End Veterans Memorial Park on Walnut Street during the Festival.
• Entertainers will perform on three stages.
• Over sixty booths will feature food from the many ethnic groups that enrich our community.
