Road-Rager Who Severely Beat Woman On I-93 Arrested: Police

Joseph Falero of Manchester, NH, allegedly left the victim covered in mud and snow on the side of the highway.

METHUEN, MA — A New Hampshire man who police say severely beat a woman after sideswiping her on I-93 last week was arrested Monday morning in his Manchester apartment. Joseph Falero, 37, was arrested by Massachusetts and New Hampshire police and charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and motor vehicle violations.

Mass. State Police said Falero was in a Honda Civic when he sideswiped a driver on I-93 North in Methuen last Tuesday night. When the drivers exited the vehicle and the woman tried to call police, Falero allegedly beat her in the face and kicked her until she was unconscious after she fell.

State Police found the 30-year-old victim covered in mud and snow, apparently in shock.
