Stevens Memorial Library, Harry Potter Staycation Week 2/18-2/26

Stay-cation Programs (All Events are Free)

During Stay-cation week, 2/18 -2/26, the Stevens Memorial Library has great programs planned for all members of the family. This year the theme for February Staycation is HARRY POTTER. We will have a movie marathon, showing all eight of the HARRY POTTER films in sequential order starting Saturday 2/18. In addition to the movies, participate in HARRY POTTER Trivia or do the Quiddich Obstacle Course. During the Construction Zone program, we will be building Hogwarts, and the Potions Class is sure to appeal to the chemist in all of you. At the end of the week, join us for the Wizard’s Ball. There will be crafts, games and wizard music! Come dressed as your favorite witch or wizard! The popular weekly storytimes will be held at their regular times throughout the week. These programs are made possible by the Friends of the Stevens Memorial Library. You can support the Friends by attending their May and November book sales.

As always stop by the library to pick out a good book to read or a movie to watch. If you are traveling over the holidays, don’t forget audio books for the car trip and e-books to make your suitcase lighter. If you reserved a museum pass, keep our holiday hours in mind to insure you can pick it up before you go.
