Stevens Pond Reopens For Swimming In North Andover

The pond was closed earlier this week after tests showed high bacteria levels.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Stevens Pond has reopened for swimming after being closed earlier this week due to high bacteria levels.

The following was posted on the Stevens Pond Facebook page on Wednesday:

"Stevens Pond is back open for swimming! Yesterday's water test has come back below the limits.

"Afternoon lessons for today 6/26 will be held from 3-4pm, as well as a nature hike around Lake Cochichewick at 4pm open to anyone interested!

"Swimming lessons will also be held this Friday for both morning and afternoon lessons to makeup for the missed classes!"
