Haverhill High School Student Behind Social Media Threat: Police

HAVERHILL, MA – A student at Haverhill High School was arrested overnight after a threat was found on social media, according to reports. Methuen police contacted Haverhill officials after receiving a tip from a parent and finding the threat came from Haverhill High School.

Both departments identified a teen as the suspect, Boston 25 reported. The student was taken into custody.

Police say there is no threat to Haverhill High School but there will be an increased police presence there Friday.
