GEORGETOWN, MA — A young calf was stranded on Interstate 95 in Massachusetts this week after it tumbled from a trailer; however, tragedy was averted when a group of motorists stepped in to make sure the animal made it back to safety.

According to a Boston 25 report, the calf slipped from the trailer while it was traveling southbound on the highway just before the Georgetown and Topsfield exit.

The nail-biting-yet-still-kinda-cute incident was captured on video by one motorist.

"Don't do it, cow, don't do it!" the man yells just before the calf falls from an opening in the trailer.

The video shows the cow standing in the middle of the highway as the car filming pulls up from behind to protect it from traffic. A woman and another motorist then work together to lead the animal off the road and to safety.
