Two North Andover High School Chorus Students to Perform with All National Honor Choir!

North Andover High School Chorus Director, Sara Durkin was pleased to announce that two of her students have been selected to perform with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) 2016 All National Honor Choir in Dallas, TX, on November 10th - 13th.

NAHS juniors Will Ferguson (tenor), and Emily Cummings (soprano), each received one of the highest scores for their performances in the Massachusetts Music Educators' Association (MMEA) All State Conference which was held in March, allowing them the opportunity to submit an audition video and a recommendation letter from Ms. Durkin in order to be considered for the All National Honor Choir. The top students in the country are selected to perform with the All National Honor Choir. The students will spend three days in rehearsals with the other students from across the United States to prepare for their performance under the direction of Dr. Anton Armstrong from St. Olaf College.
