The “Jacki” was designed to hold all drains, provide one-handed dressing, reduce pain, and restore dignity and independence. The original thought process was along the lines of: what would Princess Di or Jackie “O” wear if they had to endure this post mastectomy trauma? It is everything the hospital Johnny is not, incognito, a classic style with many unique features.

A Little Easier Recovery provides an essential recovery garment called the “Jacki®” that appears to be an everyday jacket when in reality, it aids cancer patients enduring treatment and recovery. The Jacki has essential, unique pocketing, post-surgical sensitive fabric, and Velcro seams that allows for a full range of motion while keeping patients stylish and comfortable. Additionally, the program offers an Organization System, which helps people navigate through the maze of cancer and better equip them to self-advocate for themselves. This also aids the medical staff care for a more organized patient and allows loved ones to all be on the same page.

Boston hospitals provide the Jacki, free of charge, to Breast Cancer patients who would benefit most. This is only possible through generous grants and donations to A Little Easier Recovery. The non-profit organization donates the free program directly to hospitals to distribute at the discretion of nurses and surgeons. Since its inception, over 17,000 Jacki recovery jackets have been given to patients as a gift, and A Little Easier Recovery aims to help thousands more.
