3 Cars Broken Into, Windows Smashed, Items Taken
Three cars were broken into in Northborough within about an hour and a half time span. Police are looking for suspects.

On Tuesday evening between 5:20 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., three cars were broken into in the parking lot at 318 Main Street (Route 20).
This is a multi-unit commercial building that houses (among others) the Tavern in the Square Restaurant. All three cars had windows smashed to gain access, said police.
Taken were two laptop computers, two iPads, sunglasses, a backpack and two work bags.

Westborough has experienced some car burglaries along Route 9, too.
Police remind residents to not leave possessions visible inside your car. Secure them in your trunk, use a cargo cover in SUV’s or take the items with you.

“‘Tis the season for thieves, too.....sadly,” said Northborough Police Chief Mark Leahy.
