A new season will be starting for synchronized team figure skating with the Colonials Open Masters team. You are invited to skate with the team members for free to see if this challenging sport is for you on Friday, August 19 and/or August 26 from 8:45 to 10:45 pm. This adult team is for skaters over age 35 who have basic skating skills of forward and backward crossovers, mohawks and three turns. Come and learn circle footwork, intersections, wheels, blocks, lines and presentation
The skating team is coached by former national champion, Amy Boucher. Practices are at Nashoba Valley Olympia Rink, Rt. 111 in Boxboro, MA. The team competes locally and at Easterns with occasional travel involved.
