Teens can make a powerful impact through community service projects and volunteering.
Northborough Health & Human Services and Southborough Youth and Family Services are excited to host their first Youth Volunteer Fair. Over 20 organizations are participating at the event on Tuesday, May 12, 6-8 PM at the Algonquin cafeteria. The event is geared towards students in grades 6-12 from all towns.
Meet the reps and learn more about their organization and what volunteer roles they are looking to fill throughout the year.
Volunteering helps teens build essential life skills, boost self-esteem, improve mental health and enhance college/job applications. It can also help them to build community connections, find a sense of purpose, foster empathy, and better understand social issues and the importance of giving back.
Walk-ins are welcome but pre-register at tinyurl.com/VolunteerFair2026 to receive reminders and updates about the event. Some roles may be one-time events, summer only, and everything in between.
