Annual backpack drive looking for sponsors

The Northborough Helping Hands Assoc. Inc. (NHHA) has kicked off its 10th Backpack Drive, which will continue to benefit students in need in the Northborough public schools, grades K-12, for the 2017-2018 school year.

Last year, 108 backpacks were donated with the generous support of businesses, organizations and individuals.

Each year the need increases as well as the expenses. The projected fundraising goal is $4,000. Each new backpack is accompanied by grade appropriate school supplies. Please consider making a donation and help us to Put Packs on their Backs.

Sponsor an elementary school backpack for a $35 donation or a middle school/high school backpack for a $50 donation.

Each donor will receive recognition in our project press releases, on our website and Facebook page, as well as on a flyer, which will be included with the distribution of the backpacks.

NHHA is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer run organization whose mission is to coordinate programs to assist those in need in the form of Thanksgiving food baskets, Christmas gifts, clothing, medical equipment, and emergency aid for special services. Your donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
