Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

Do you enjoy spending time with enthusiastic, bright-eyed, curious children? If so, join the Bridges: Growing Together program at Saint Bernadette School, starting March 7!Bridges Together is an award-winning intergenerational program that promotes mutual respect, understanding and friendships between elementary school students and older adults in the community.We are looking for volunteers who can offer their time for 6 weeks, 45 minutes each week. The volunteer requirements are pretty simple: We want adults aged 55+ who are interested in opportunities to reflect on their own life stories and how much they have to offer the next generation!The commitment is small, but the rewards are great! We'd love to have you join us. Sessions begin the week of 3/7/16 at Saint Bernadette School.
