Bump It Forward: Boy Who Fist-Bumped Bruins Looking to #BumpOutCancer
The precious kid whose Bruins video went viral now asks others to fist bump, donate and pass it on to help 'kick cancer's butt.'

Last year, a story and video posted by the Boston Globe quickly went viral of an adorable boy with Down Syndrome who fist-bumped the Bruins players as they skated off the rink into the locker room. It was shared on countless news outlets, and sports pages, and won the USA Today polls βfavorite fan video.
Eight-year-old Liam Fitzgerald from Northborough became an internet sensation, and everyone learned his story. Not only does he have Down Syndrome, but the boy had beaten leukemia.

Now his parents have launched a campaign to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and he hopes he will be named the LLS βMan of the Year.β
The campaign, marked with the hashtag #BumpOutCancer, is a ten-week campaign that asks everyone who watched the Bruins fist-bump video to donate.
