Algonquin Wrestling is sponsoring a Youth Wrestling Clinic for kids, grades 5-8, in the wrestling room at Algonquin Regional High School. The sessions will be run by several youth coaches under the direction of Algonquin's new head wrestling coach Brian Kramer.
The 19-session clinic starts on Dec. 1 and goes until Feb. 16, 2012. No experience is necessary. Required equipment: shorts and a t-shirt; wrestling shoes optional.
Children develop balance, flexibility, coordination, body awareness and self-confidence through high energy, fun-filled sessions while learning amateur wrestling techniques.
