ARHS Youth Wrestling Clinic Info/Open Mat Night

Tonight there will also be an informational "open mat night" from 7-8pm in the wrestling room at Algonquin. This is to promote their upcoming youth clinic.

Algonquin Wrestling is sponsoring a youth wrestling clinic for kids in Grades 5-8 in the wrestling room at Algonquin High School.  The sessions will be run by several youth coaches under the direction of Algonquin's new head wrestling coach Brian Kramer. The 19-session clinic starts on Dec. 1st and goes until Feb. 16th and costs only $125; no experience is necessary and the only equipment required is shorts and a t-shirt, wrestling shoes are optional.

Develop balance, flexibility, coordination, body awareness and self-confidence through high energy, fun-filled sessions where your child will learn amateur wrestling techniques. As a part of the Algonquin Youth Wrestling team (which is a member of the Massachusetts Youth Wrestling Association), you’ll have the option to attend tournaments and jamborees, plus dual meets in conjunction with the Algonquin Varsity Wrestling team meets. These optional events run weekdays and weekends throughout the season. Get some real time wrestling experience in a fun, low-key wrestling environment. For more information on the clinic and to access the registration form go to www.arhs-wrestling.com.  The registration deadline is Nov. 23rd.
