Ken Gloss, renown expert on rare and collectible books, and owner of Brattle Book Shop in Boston, will talk about what makes a book valuable and bring some interesting examples of items from the store's private collection. Mr. Gloss will answer questions and give a free verbal appraisal (as time permits) of books that audience members bring with them.
