Frankly, BeeZers Opens for the Season on Patriots Day

The area's favorite Chicago hot dog stand welcomes the warmer months.

Hot diggity. It's Marathon Monday. It's spring. The Sox are playing. Trombetta's opened a few weeks ago, and now BeeZers is following suit.

The Chicago hot dog stand, opens for the season on April 15.

"We're excited to be back!" said owner Linda Bock.

Known for their traditional style Chicago dogs and Italian beef sandwiches, BeeZers is not only bringing back those yummies, but have a few additions to this season's menu. And these additions come in the form of a panini.

"We ran paninis as specials at the end of the summer, and they became so popular we decided to add them to our menu," said Bock.

The Caprese Panini is fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil. The Tuscan Panini is chicken breast, roasted red peppers, baby spinach, carmelized onions and a splash of balsamic. "The Gonk" is sliced turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, tomato and honey mustard.
