Hold Your Horses: Northborough PD Catch Escaped Ponies

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — Northborough police catch more than criminals during their shifts — they catch horses too. In Friday's case, it was a pair of escaped ponies.

The department posted a shoutout to the dayshift officers who wrangled a pair of escaped ponies back to safety. The two brown ponies made a mad dash in the snow through a neighborhood in town.

The department's post read, "These escapees didn’t stand a chance with the dayshift after them!" Turns out those ponies had more than one trick in them.
