IHOP's Coming to Town

The board approves a license for a new iHOP at Northborough Crossing.

By late July or early August, you'll be able to get your flapjack fix over at Northborough Crossing.

Mr. Stax, a franchisee of IHOP restaurants for Massachusetts, is opening a chain at Northborough Crossing.

Terry Case, VP of operations for Mr. Stax, said this will be the fifty-third restaurant operated by this franchise company in the state. Others are located in Cambridge, Salem, Dedham, Plymouth and Brockton.

Hours will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to midnight on weekends.

As with other IHOP restaurants, no beer or wine will be served.

The IHOP located in Shrewsbury will not close as a result of the new location, said Case, as it is operated by a difference franchisee.
