Fourth of July In Northborough: What's Open, Closed; Trash Pickup
Trash and recycling will be delayed one day because of the holiday.
NORTHBOROUGH, MA — The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate the nation with barbecues, parades and of course, a day off from work. That day off includes many local and state government offices, so if you had errands to run at town hall before the festivities, you might want to reschedule.
While most government offices are closed, it offers more time for residents and employees to enjoy the festivities in town. There are plenty of parades and events happening around Northborough to spend the day right.
The holiday also means that trash and recycling pickup are delayed by one day — Thursdays pick-up will be on Friday and Friday's will be picked up on Saturday.
