Lalajava Donates Sales of the Newly-Named 'Marathon Blend'

Scott and Lala Boyers, owners of Lalajava Coffeehouse, are renaming their Lalajava Legendary blend. From now on, the blend will be called Beans 4 Boston "Marathon Blend," and $4.15 of the sale of each 12 ounce bag goes to the One Fund Boston.

One Fund is a foundation set up to help the people "most afected by the events that occurred in Boston."

Scott said the donation amount per bag of $4.15 was chosen as a direct correlation to the date of the tragic occurrences in Boston on April 15.

"This also represents a significant portion of the profits related to the production and sale of the coffee," he said.
