Northborough 8th Graders Hold Love Your Neighbor Valentine's Drive
Eighth grade Destination Imagination group has partnered with Friends of FIT for Valentine's Day community service project.

The Northborough 8th grade Destination Imagination team is partnering with the Friends of Families in Transition for a Valentine’s Day drive to collect supplies, food, toiletries and arts & crafts items for local homeless families in need. The “Love Your Neighbor” drive is from Tuesday, January 19, 2016 through Friday, January 29, 2016 and is designed to bring a Valentine’s Day celebration to kids in need.
The list of specific items needed is as follows: boxes of blank Valentine’s Day cards for kids to use with their classmates and friends, chocolates, hot cocoa, peanut free school snacks, all inclusive craft kits (the kids do not have scissors or glue), crayons and coloring books, Color Wonder markers, children’s toothbrushes, and children’s toothpaste.
Drop off boxes for the items will be located at the Northborough Recreation Center, the Northborough Free Library, and the Northborough elementary schools (Lincoln Street School, Peaslee School, Proctor School and Zeh School).
