Three elementary school PTOs received donations.

Marlborough Savings Charitable Foundation Donates to Elementary School PTOs
The Marlborough Savings Charitable Foundation has awarded elementary school PTOs in Westborough, Northborough, and Marlborough with $500 each.

The Fales Parent Group in Westborough will use the $500 grant for its curriculum based enrichment programs. The mission of the Fales Parent Group is to fully support Fales Elementary School, principal, teachers and staff in the education and inspiration of students.

Jaworek PTO in Marlborough received a $500 grant for cultural opportunity offerings. The mission of the Jaworek PTO is to enhance the school experience for the students, assist the staff and administration and enrich student education through supplemental programs within the school curriculum.

The Peaslee PTO in Northborough will use the $500 grant for educational enrichment programs and/or teacher requests. The mission of the Peaslee PTO is to promote the relationship between home and school in order to enhance the education and social environment at Peaslee School.

“With budget shortfalls and increasing expenses, we understand the challenges our local schools face and are thrilled to be able to help,” comments Ellen W. Dorian, secretary of the Marlborough Savings Charitable Foundation.
