Medical Condition May Have Contributed to Fatal Crash

The crash occurred in Northborough this afternoon.

A medical condition may have contributed to a car crash that happened in Northborough earlier on Wednesday.

Around 2:40 p.m., Northborough police and fire responded to an accident in the area of 214 South St.

The operator of the car was traveling northbound when the vehicle went off the road. It rolled over when it left the roadway.

A 73-year-old Worcester man was extracted from the vehicle and transported to UMass, where he was later pronounced deceased.

An identity has not been announced, and the accident is under investigation.
