Memorial Service In Northborough For Those Killed In Orlando Mass Shooting
It was one of the deadliest mass shootings in the country's history.
NORTHOBROUGH, MA—It was both the deadliest mass shooting by a lone shooter and the deadliest incident of violence against LGBTQ people in this history of the United States. It was also the deadliest terrorist attack in the United States since September 11, 2001.
On June 12, 2016, Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old security guard, killed 49 people and wounded 53 others in a terrorist attack/hate crime inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, FL. He was shot and killed by OrlandoPolice Department officers.
Trinity Church of Northborough is holding a memorial service on Monday, June 12, at 7:30 pm., 23 Main St.,
Northborough.
