Northboro Baseball's Ex-Treasurer Sentenced to Probation for Stealing Funds

Northboro Baseball and Softball Association's ex-treasurer was given probation for stealing approximately $75,000 from the organization, reported the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

Edward R. Tache, 7 Lanthorn Rd., Northborough, was also ordered "not to act in a fiduciary capacity until he has made full restitution." He is accused of stealing from NBSA between January of 2009 and December of 2012, said the Telegram.

The association's lawyer said Tache had already returned $70,000 of the money.
