Northborough Drive Donates 100 Backpacks

Helping Hands donated 100 backpacks to the schools.

Northborough Helping Hands Association recently donated 100 backpacks to students in need attending Northborough Public Schools.

The new backpacks were filled with grade appropriate supplies so these students could start their new school year.

The drive’s success is attributed to the outstanding community support the effort receives each year.

Thanks to Jennifer Lacasse of Northborough Moms and Tots who organized and coordinated a spring yard sale, and to all who donated and/or bought items to make it such a huge success. Northborough Helping Hands Assoc. Inc. has a medical equipment loan program, holiday outreach program and emergency funds to help those in need. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 383; Northborough, MA 01532.
