The Northborough Education Foundation (NEF) is holding its kick off meeting for the 2015-2016 school year on Tuesday, September 29 at Melican Middle School at 7:15 pm.

This is an informational meeting, which is open to the community, to learn about NEF, meet the team, and see how your talents may fit into NEF’s goals. An assistant for the popular Golden Apple program, school representatives, and volunteers for the Event Planning Committee are needed.

NEF’s mission is to provide the Northborough Public Schools and the community with resources necessary to improve curriculum, programs and services above and beyond the level supported by the annual school budgets. NEF will finance the costs of extraordinary curriculum and staff development projects, student services and activities, special programs, equipment purchases, and other efforts in order to foster creativity and add to the excellence of the Northborough student experience.
