Fire officials said the family is staying with relatives in the area.
NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A Northborough family was displaced from their home on Westbrook Road after a fire damaged most of it on Tuesday morning. Northborough fire officials said the family is staying with relatives in the area. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Northborough and Westborough Fire Departments responded to the two-alarm fire on Tuesday morning. Northborough Fire Chief David Parenti said the family of four was not home at the time of the fire and neither was the family dog.
"Our guys thought there might be a dog in the house cause they saw the crate and toys but it turns out he was at doggy daycare," Parenti said. Westborough Fire Department added that there were no injuries.
