Northborough family needs support
A YouCaring page has been set up for Nieves family, who has experienced a great loss and is struggling.

On April 7, Carlos Nieves passed away suddenly leaving behind his wife Angela, four adult daughters and two young sons, Daniel (8), and Maxx (1.5 years old).
Carlos was a devoted father who loved to run around playing superhero with his boys. He worked hard for his family as a talented stone mason. He insisted that Angela stay at home with the kids to provide resources and give extra attention to Daniel, who has special needs. He also wanted Angela to take care of herself, as she suffers from lupus and is on disability. The family was trying to save for a house and to replace Angela's 12 year old car, which has over 200,000 miles on it, but Carlos' struggle with addiction wiped out the family's savings.
Angela and the boys are left to face a dire financial situation as Carlos did not have life insurance. Paying for funeral expenses, health insurance and the daily bills going forward will be a true hardship. Angela's disability payments will not support the family, and she will have to return to work against doctor's orders to meet basic living expenses. She will also have to dedicate herself to helping two young boys through a grieving process that is not easy to understand.
