Northborough Historical 5K Race/1K Fun Run

Get those sneakers ready! The Northborough 250th Anniversary Committee has announced its Historical 5K Road Race and 1K Fun Run. It will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 starting at 9:00 am at Marion E. Zeh School located at 33 Howard St., Northborough. The race is part of the town’s 250th celebration, which is one of many upcoming events scheduled throughout the year to commemorate Northborough’s milestone.

Pre-registration for both the 5K and 1K is recommended. The fee through May 1 is $30; after this date there will be a slight increase.

Pre-registration will also guarantee a t-shirt and a special participation medal for all 5K runners. Families participating in the 1K will receive one medal per family.

The 5K will be timed and prizes will be awarded in several categories.

Same day registration will start at 8:00 am on race day.
