Northborough Library Gets $13,400 Innovation Grant
The Northborough Library is among those in the area that received a state grant. The library will use the funds toward innovation.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA—State Representative Harold P. Naughton, Jr., announced that Bigelow Free Public Library in Clinton, Thayer Memorial Library in Lancaster and the Northborough Free Library have been awarded the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioner’s Grant. The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners awarded $468,102 in 42 grants to various public, school, special and academic libraries throughout the Commonwealth. Lancaster, Northborough and Clinton combined are receiving more than $50,000 in grant funding, said the announcement.
“These grants are competitive and being awarded such grants demonstrates the hard work and development of ideas our towns are illustrating in their applications,” said Naughton in a statement. “I am proud of our local libraries for their clear commitment to improving library services in our communities.”
