Northborough Pottery Studio Expanding With Second Location

The business plans to divide its painting and clay programs between two locations in town.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A popular pottery studio in Northborough is preparing to divide its painting and clay programs between two locations in town.

Two Tails Pottery Studio will move its paint-your-own-pottery business to a larger space at 243 West Main St. at the end of October, the business announced on social media on Monday. The expansion is meant to give painters more room as the holiday season approaches.

Meanwhile, the business will remain at its current studio at 290 West Main St., which will become a clay-focused space offering pottery wheel classes, hand-building courses and workspace for studio members.

Construction and buildout work have begun at the new painting space, the business said. More information about both locations will be announced as the transition continues.

Owner Hannah Sharron has operated the studio since purchasing the business in 2019. Sharron renamed it from Paint Your Own Pottery, or PYOP Studio, in 2025 to reflect its expanded offerings.
