Learning First Charter Public School is a K-8 educational institution located in the heart of Worcester's Green Island neighborhood. Established in 1996, the school serves a diverse cross-section of the community, preparing students for success in college, their future careers, and as responsible citizens. Elsie Kaye Artisan Gifts & Flamework Studio

Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

More than 1,800 people from across Greater Boston and New England are expected to gather on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Boston Marriott Copley Place for An Evening with Gurudev: On Power, Presence &amp; Peace.
The evening will feature internationally known humanitarian and spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in a live program of wisdom, guided meditation, music, and audience Q&amp;A. The event is open to adults of all backgrounds, and no prior meditation experience is needed.
The City of Boston is also marking the occasion with a proclamation from Mayor Michelle Wu declaring September 25 “Power, Presence &amp; Peace Day” in recognition of the humanitarian work of Gurudev and the Art of Living Foundation.

RAIN or SHINE.
<ul><li>Go on a tractor ride through the fields around the campus.</li><li>Go inside our state-of-the-art anatomy lab to see plastination samples and large animal skeletons. </li><li>Visit the Joseph Kelley, D.V.M. Simulation Lab to view and touch simulation animal models.</li><li>Participate in hands-on learning activities, including horseshoe painting, pinecone bird feeders, and more about the Cummings School programs.</li><li>Bring your stuffies to get their boo-boos bandaged at our teddy bear clinic.</li><li>Stop by the SAVMA store table to pick up some merch.</li><li>Learn about Tufts PAWS for People program, a therapy animal program that provides education, evaluation and mentorship for individuals looking to do visits with their pet. </li><li>Grab food at Elm's Cafe.</li></ul>
For the safety of the demonstration animals and all visitors, pets are not allowed on campus during the event. Service animals will continue to be welcome.
Tufts Wildlife Clinic, Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals, and Hospital for Large Animal will only be open for scheduled appointments and emergencies and not part of the Open House event.
