Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

The Northborough 250th Anniversary Committee invites you to become part of history.A commemorative cookbook is being prepared and your recipes are needed to make it complete. The cookbook will be professionally published and contain special pages of interest, a table of contents, an index, helpful cooking hints and recipe category dividers.Residents are being asked to submit 3-5 of their favorite recipes to be represented throughout the cookbook. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Recipe categories include appetizers/beverages, soups &amp; salads, vegetable &amp; side dishes, main dishes, breads &amp; rolls, desserts, and cookies &amp; candy.Recipe forms can be found on line at <a href="http://www.northborough250.org/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">www.northborough250.org</a>.
