Northborough's winter gear drive in its 7th year

As the weather cools down and closets are cleaned out, think about donating your children’s gently used winter coats, snow pants and boots to the 7th Annual Winter Gear Drive sponsored by Northborough Helping Hands Association, Inc. (NHHA).

Only toddler through teen sizes are being collected at this time. Drop off locations include Northborough Free Library and Northborough Recreation Department. Bins will also be placed at all the Northborough elementary public schools and Melican Middle School. Donations will be collected through Monday, Nov. 16.

All collected items will be distributed to local Northborough families in need at the end of November. Surplus items will be shared with other organizations including Families in Transition.
