Police Log: Unruly Customer; Arrest for OUI; Truck Hits Pole on Church Street

The following are excerpts from the Northborough police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Sept. 30

  • At 1:25 p.m., police respond to Green Street for a report of a fraudulent utility account
  • At 3:32 p.m., police responded to reports of a suspicious male at Shops Way
  • At 8:02 p.m., police are asked to check on kids on Hamilton Road for their mother. Everyone OK.

Wednesday, Oct. 1

  • At 7:39 a.m., police responded to a call from a resident, who said that a man was walking around the residence on South Street
  • At 11 a.m., a truck hit a pole on Church Street. No injuries.
  • At 4:35 p.m., a resident on Village Drive complained about noise. Police found no noise.
  • At 5:57 p.m., a resident on Village Drive complained about noise again.
  • At 6:06 p.m., police responded to Shops Way to an unruly customer who was dissatisfied
  • At 9:22 p.m., police responded to a report that someone was peering into the work vans on Main Street
  • At 9:23 p.m., Verizon at Northborough Crossing reported a stolen phone, and money

Oct. 1, 1:09 p.m.: Thomas N. Cook, 47, 10 Carlton St., Shrewsbury, arrested and charged with marked lanes violation, OUI, West Main Street
