Rec. Department and Rotary Holds First 5K Race
The new 5K road race in Northborough raises funds for the Rotary Club and the Recreation Department.
The Rotary Club of Northborough in conjunction with Northborough Recreation is hosting its first ever road race on April 27. This 'Get Active 5K Road Race' raises funds for both the Rotary Club and the Rec. Department.
On its Facebook event page, they ask, "if you are unable to attend, please consider registering as a donation; it would be much appreciated."
It is sponsored by GPS Financial Management, St. Mary’s Credit Union, Boroughs YMCA, UMass Memorial- Marlborough, and Michelle Gillespie- Prudential Real Estate.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
