Registered Sex Offender Charged With Child Porn

NORTHBOROUGH, MA -- A Northborough man is facing charges of child pornography after a lengthy investigation.

Jeffrey Bickford, 38, of 3 Belmont St., Northborough, is being charged with posing a child for sexual photographs and possession of child pornography, said Northborough police.

The arrest was the result of a lengthy investigation conducted by Detective Scott Maffioli, who applied for an arrest warrant.

Bickford is a Level 3 registered sex offender, according to the Sex Offender Registry. He was convicted in 2007 on one count of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older, and two counts of rape and abuse of a child.

His work address is listed by the Sex Offender Registry as 5 Fisher St. in Franklin.

Bickford was arraigned in Westborough District Court on Wednesday morning.
