UPDATED: Where are the Dirtiest Areas of Northborough?

What areas in Northborough could use an Earth Day cleanup the most?

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A row of attached rubber tires. Plastic plant pots. Diapers. Toys. An old sandwich. A three-legged chair. A light saber (yeah, maybe)? In too many areas of towns and cities, litter is part of the landscape, blowing in the street, or embedded in the brush on the side of the road.

So we ask you, our readers - the residents - where are the most "trashed" areas in Northborough? What needs some attention this Earth Day weekend, and beyond?

Our list, in no particular order, based on reader feedback (refresh page for updates):

  1. Definitely in front of my house, 459 Main St. People drive by and throw trash everywhere. I'm always finding nips in my driveway, Wendy's bags in the bushes. I even once found a banana peel - gross! And if you go behind my house towards the field along the path theres tires, mattresses and even an old mail truck. - Kendra
