Runners Who Completed the Boston Marathon

Patch editors were spread out along the 26.2 mile Boston Marathon course on Patriots Day to follow along with the action and get local reaction. Originally, this article was updated to post the finishing times for all of the Northborough runners.

Instead, of course, tragedy struck and many were unable to complete the course. According to the Boston Marathon website, two of the nine Northborough runners finished.

Finishing times for Northborough runners:

Christopher Benestad at 12:41:59 p.m. with a finishing time of 02:41:33 and a pace of 9:43

Ron Lipka at 12:48:20 p.m. with a finishing time of 02:47:47 and a pace of 9:11
