Two Northborough Residents Named To 2019 MA Super Lawyers List

Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — Two Northborough residents were named to the 2019 Massachusetts Super Lawyers List. The residents, Richard C. Van Nostrand and Joseph M. Hamilton, were selected by the research team at Super Lawyers.

Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive the honor.

Nostrand is a partner at Mirick O'Connell. He has extensive experience in general civil trial work, with concentrations in business and employment litigation. He provides advice and representation in a variety of business and commercial litigation matters, including shareholder disputes, corporate dissolutions, intra- and inter-company disagreements, and intra-family business disputes. Rich also provides ongoing employment litigation and counseling services to numerous clients in the private, public and higher education sectors.

Hamilton is a partner at Mirick O'Connell. He concentrates his practice in life, health and disability insurance defense, ERISA, and land use litigation, including environmental litigation. He is a past member of the Firm’s Management Committee and the chair of the firm's Litigation Group.
